The school has regular physical education programme. Coaching facilities are available for athletics, football , Volley ball , Kho Kho Kabadi.. Every student is encouraged to take active part in sports activities. Students who excel in any particular sports are identified and given special coaching under the supervision of our physical Education Teachers. The school provides the necessary infrastructure for indoor and outdoor games. Once in a week children have physical education classes.
We started school scouts and guides in 2018 to explore careers and develop life long skills. Our students went for several training outside the school. In 2019 4 students attended Rajapurakshar exam. They completed and passed their exams.
The School follows the House system to group the staff and all the students into four houses viz Blue, Green, Red and Yellow.
Each House has Guide staff, Students Captain, Vice- Captain and a group of students who help in the maintenance and layout of the House. There should be a healthy competitive spirit among the houses to excel in studies, games, athletics and other co-curricular activities.
Every year we have proper schedule of intra school competitions. We have different competitions both in scholastics and non scholastic. We have elocution, creative writing , essay writing slogan writing and so on… in non scholastic we have flower arrangement, pot painting, Rangoli, drawing, hair do, mahendi etc. To develop their language and pronunciation every year we conduct recitation competition from KG to II grade.
Our students will participate in Inter school competitions conducted by lions club Rotary club etc. During the children’s day. Our children got an opportunity to participate .
Sports in its true sense helps one to fight against all sorts of odds in life. To inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship, the school holds intramural tournaments and sports meet and celebrate the day with a solemn function. It will be the spirit to participate rather than via for the gold.
We have a perfect School Band in our school. Students from standard VI to IX actively participate in this Band. They are trained by our PET Master. Our school band performs in all the important events and celebrations like the Independence Day, Annual Day, Sports Day Parade etc. important event in our school band performing in it.
Our students participated in the state level karate competitions and own our all championship in the year 2018 and 2019.
Our students participated in the state level junior athletic meet held in paladam in 29.08.2018 and many gold and silver medals. They added golden feathers in our school crown in 2018.
Our students participated in Interschool competition held in Yagapuram in 11.01.2019 we won the our all championship. This is bench mark in our school history in 2019.
Our students participated in YOGA competition won many gold medals and trophy in 2018 & 2019
Our students participated in SOF competitions conducted by New Delhi. Many students won gold , silver and bronze medals. Few of them were selected for second round and they too attended the exams in the year 2018 and 2019.
