Admission to St. Joseph International School CBSE is restricted by certain policies of the management and by the conditions of age, ability and conduct of the candidate. Hence, applicants for admission may be given an oral / written test at the time of admission. The decision of the school authorities regarding the entrance test shall be final.
Admission are made in Pre-KG,LKG, UKG, classes and for standards I to IX . For direct admission children should satisfy the age rule i.e., 2+ for nursery, 3+ for LKG, 4+ for UKG, 5+ for I Std., and so on. Students coming from unrecognized institution will not be admitted.

The completed Application Forms for Registration have to reach the School Office within
15 days from the date of issue. The Application Form must be accompanied with the following documents.
• Name of the student
• Name of the school and class attending
• Class to which admission is sought
• Photocopy of Birth certificate.
• Photocopy of Aadhar card.
• Occupation of parent
• Permanent address proof
• Address for communication and contact Number.
Procedure for LKG, includes a personal meeting with the child and parents to verify the certificates and to brief the rules and regulations of the school. An entrance test will be conducted in Tamil, English and Maths for the students seeking admission for UKG to Std IX and those who are selected on merit alone will be allowed to join the institution.
Application for admission should be made on the prescribed form by parents or guardian who will be responsible to the head of the school for the pupil’s conduct, punctuality , regular attendance, progress in school and payment of fees.
The Principal reserves the right of refusing admission to a pupil without ascribing any reason in it. He also reserves the right to discontinue, the studies of any pupil whose conduct and academic performance is not satisfactory.
School Academic session is from April to March
Academic year comprises of two terms.
• FIRST TERM : APRIL TO SEPTEMBER
• SECOND TERM : OCTOBER TO MARCH
The working day is divided in to two sessions, morning session 8.45 am to 12.30 noon, afternoon session from 1.00 pm to 3.40 pm.
Students must be inside the school premises by 8.40 am. If late beyond 8.40am they should bring a letter of explanation from the parent. Late comers between 8.40 am and 9.00 am should surrender their hand books to the volunteer at the gate.

Our school will be working five days in a week Saturdays and Sundays will be weekly holiday. Students must be inside the school premises by 8.45 am. If late beyond 8.45 am they should bring a letter of explanation from the parent. Late comers between 8.45 am and 9.00 am should surrender their hand books to the volunteer at the gate.
1. Students should attend the school regularly.
2. No extra classes will be conducted for students who avail leave.
3. Any student who is absent to the class shall submit leave letter to the class teacher.
4. Prior permission shall be obtained for any long leave.
5. Absenting for periodical assessment / terminal examinations will not be entertained at any ground except illness certified by a doctor.
6. The students must attend the morning assembly and prayers and the late comers shall report the principal / teacher designate and get noted in the students’ handbook. Routine late coming will be viewed seriously.
7. The students with ill health / contagious diseases will not be permitted to attend the classes.
